Results of blockchain conference in Prague
On May 17, Smile-Expo hosted the fourth annual blockchain event in the capital of the Czech Republic – Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Prague. Our company brought together leaders of the international crypto industry: blockchain experts, lawyers, developers, entrepreneurs, and marketers.
How did the conference proceed?
Data privacy, protection, and storage
Representatives of famous global companies were invited as special guests. For instance, the Technical Vice President of Innovation and New Technologies for IBM Cloud René Bostic focused on the analysis of modern trends in blockchain. According to the speaker, privacy, security, and high standards of data storage are three most important conditions for successful use of blockchain in business. Besides, René believes that business partnerships in the field of blockchain should be based on the desire for development.
Close attention to cryptocurrency
Leader at PwC Legal Switzerland Dr. Günther Dobrauz-Saldapenna spoke about the growing attention to cryptocurrencies shown by the national financial regulators. He also mentioned that international financial organizations did not offer any classifications of ICO or tokens, which is why every token project should be assessed individually.
Blockchain-based medicine and energetics
Speaker that advises the European Parliament on capital markets and fintech regulation shared the view on blockchain common for public officials in Europe. In his opinion, blockchain will be implemented in energetics, healthcare, logistics, education, and creative industry in the first place. However, issues connected with cyber security of blockchain solutions should be thought over for this purpose.
Implementing artificial intelligence in blockchain
One of 50 most inspiring Scandinavian women engaged in high tech (according to the pan-European program Inspiring Fifty) Anita Schjøll Brede gave a presentation on open source artificial intelligence on blockchain. She explained that artificial intelligence integrated with blockchain would allow reducing power consumption and increasing the efficiency of the deployed core memory and CPU.
Exhibition area
For the fourth time, Smile-Expo organized an exhibition area for attendees of the blockchain event in Prague. Cleverance presented software for finance and telecommunication organizations. KompiTech demonstrated blockchain solutions intended for supply chain management. BubbleTone unveiled an application for making international calls without the need for intermediaries. Inno3D displayed mining hardware. NAFEN presented nano materials used in different business areas.
