On March 31, Novotel hosted the international business conference dedicated to chatbots – ChatBot Conference.
Participants spoke about the latest developments in the industry and showed how to use digital assistants while optimizing business processes.
Conference: bots and business
The conference was divided in two parts: for developers and for entrepreneurs. Evgeny Molchanov, the expert at “Skolkovo”, was the moderator of the first part. Pavel Doronin, the founder and CEO at Chatbots Community, was the moderator of the second one.
Dmitriy Soshnikov, the representative of Microsoft, was among the first who gave their presentations. He told visitors how to develop functional bots using Microsoft Bot Framework and showed how to create the simplest virtual communication partner in several minutes.
The top product “1C-Bitrix” – a bot platform by “Bitrix24” – was presented by Alexander Serbul. He demonstrated how to build neurobots for high-quality technical support by means of this solution. According to the speaker, bots on the basis of neuronets help to increase workforce productivity because they are able to find a correct answer to a user’s question in less than a second.
The specialist at “MIVAR” – Oleg Varlamov – presented a unique technology of projecting expert systems which can analyze the meaning of words depending on the context. The speaker spoke about several case studies to prove the effectiveness of the system in various spheres of business.
“MIVAR” had a special booth at the exhibition, so guests had a chance to learn about innovative products:
- Wi!Mi – an instrument for developing expert systems;
- Tel!Mi – a system for thorough analysis of human speech;
- “Robo!Razum” – a software for creating smart robots.
Besides, conference visitors listened to speeches by the founder of Chatbots Community, CEO at Wobot.me, Freedom24.ru service, manufacturer of Endurance Robots and other large companies.
Round table: modern abilities of bots
The conference featured a round table discussion controlled by Evgeny Molchanov, the expert at “Skolkovo”. Specialists from Microsoft, Alterra.ai and other companies discussed a number of topical issues:
- Use of neuronets for developing bots;
- Methods of teaching virtual assistants;
- Use of bots for lead generation and technical support;
- A host of other things.
Conclusion: the epoch of chatbots is just beginning
