Georgia Gaming Congress encourages gambling industry development

On March 1, 2017, Tbilisi will host the third Georgia Gaming Congress. One platform will again bring together business representatives and authorities to discuss the most significant industry development issues.

Since the beginning of 2017, Georgia gambling business has faced increased tax rates. Despite this fact, the local market keeps attracting investors due to the same transparent and simple licensing and regulating system. Besides, successful government's actions, focusing on increasing the tourist flow, are paying off for gambling venues, providing them with the growing amount of customers.

Indeed, previous year, more than 6.3 million foreigners have visited the country, which is 7.6% more than in 2015. According to authorities’ plans, by 2025, the amount of foreign tourists will reach 11 million people.

High technologies and market development trends

Each venue should provide the highest service level and variety of offers in order not to get lost among competitors. Thus, it is quite important to know world’s gambling development trends.

Smile-Expo, the organizer of Georgia Gaming Congress, is holding the event to acquaint businesses with innovative technologies for land-based and online casinos, betting shops and slot machine halls, as well as to examine the experience of market leaders. To that end, it is the third straight year, when we are bringing together operator company representatives as well as software and hardware manufacturers on one platform.

Dialogue with authorities

Development of the regulated gambling market is impossible without mutual understanding between businesses and authorities. To establish efficient dialogue between them is another goal of the Gaming Congress, and it is reached successfully. Georgia government always sends its delegates to our event.

Expansion of business relations

All the above mentioned spark great interest to the congress in business environment. Besides, we have created perfect conditions for establishing business contacts. In such a way, Smile-Expo allows to strengthen and expand partnership between gambling organizers, software and hardware manufacturers, hotel owners, and tour operators.
