On September 20, we held the ICO event Moscow – the first conference dedicated to Initial Coin Offering, relevant ICO projects and practical application of token sales.
Over three hundred people came to listen to leading cryptocurrency and blockchain projects representatives, developers and investors.
About the conference
ICO event Moscow had 11 speakers, who talked about legal, technical and practical aspects of ICO, discussed the advantages, risks and prospects, gave advice on the right way to get your project to ICO.
Blokchain enthusiast, who published two books on the ICO subject, Vladimir Popov in his presentation, first of all, addressed investors. He named the signs of a project that is going to fail. He also touched on the relevant issue of the countries’ governments actions towards the ICO - in his opinion, authorities should develop this economy direction, not limit it.
Yury Parsamov, the KICKICO crowdfunding platform Marketing Director spoke about the importance of choosing the right targeted audience. On practical examples, he explained that effective marketing and therefore, a successful ICO are simply not possible without proper targeting.
The Oris blockchain service founder Alexander Kolokhmatov gave his own analysis of the current crypto-currency market state and said that, no later than in December, bitcoin will cost around $8,000. But you won’t get to be happy for too long, after that a rough drop to about $4700 is expected, which is around current level. He also shared information on how to estimate the ICO’s success and anticipate the success of new projects.
Polish specialist Lukasz Zeligowski came to Moscow to present the case of his EasyMINE project. Its team is developing software for mining equipment. He spoke about his own way to ICO and shared the conclusions he made in the process. In particular, he stressed that a successful project should first of all have practical application.
Rusmarketing agency co-founder Ilya Egorov also talked about the project promotion and drawing attention to ICO. He shared some of the lifehacks he came to in the work process, and first of all insisted on the importance of Asian traffic markets, which often become main profit sources and allow reaching a much larger number of potential investors.
Maxim Pervunin, managing partner of TFH Russia, covered another current issue - how to transfer the cryptocurrency amount provided by investors to traditional money. He pointed out that you cannot do it in Russia, since Russian banks are still afraid of operations with digital currency.
About the exhibition
Demo zone on the ICO event Moscow was successful as well. 15 company stands were presented to visitors’ attention, Russian and CIS countries, as well as Europe and Asia. Among them are such as Goldmint's cryptocurrency investment platform, FinShi Capital fund, Brickblock trading service, Polish developer EasyMINE, B2Broker, Krypton, ChronoBank and other well known in the community companies.

We are pleased that ICO event Moscow has been such a success and attracted attention of so many people, but we are not planning to stop here. A series of token sales conferences ICO event continues and spreads beyond the CIS. The next event is ICO event London. It will be held in the UK very soon, on October 11.
