Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Stockholm is over, but there are still 6 events to be held

Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Stockholm was held on September 7, 2017. This is the first blockchain event held by our company in Sweden. We are glad that it stirred such great interest of both speakers and audience: 19 speakers from 13 countries presented their reports at the conference, and the number of attendees exceeded 350.

Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Stockholm was held at the Elite Hotel Marina Tower. It is one of the best four-star hotels in Stockholm; the venue is located in a historic building of the 19th century, with windows overlooking Saltsjö Bay.

Main topics and keynote speakers

The event was attended by cryptocurrency and ICO experts from Sweden and other countries of Europe and the world. The key speakers were the Swedish parliamentarian Mathias Sundin and the advisor to Stockholm FinTech Hub Sofie Blakstad. They talked about the role of cryptocurrencies in the modern world, their prospects and strategy of the Swedish government regarding digital currencies.

Several reports were dedicated to the relevant topic of ICO. Daniel Zakrisson talked about the regulation of crowdsales and compared them with venture capital. Natalia Tokar explained how to choose promising ICO, what are the investment risks and how the market copes with the abundance of cryptocurrencies. Julian Hosp revealed five secrets of crowdsale success, and Oleg Kudrenko expressed his opinion on what ICO is: a bubble or a new effective way of raising capital.

Great interest of the audience was caused by the reports of Vladislav Martynov (Evolution of stable coin in crypto economy) and Frank Schuil (Blockchain & Bitcoin perception: cryptocurrencies as a narrative).

The conference speakers also discussed implementation of blockchain in various sectors (Martin Mischke), perspectives for currency trading (Oleg Chernyahovsky), efficient mining strategies (Łukasz Żeligowski) and cybersecurity (Jesus Pena).

The event also featured an exhibition area presenting the latest blockchain software and cryptocurrency services, as well as hardware: Bitcoin ATMs, mining farms. Guests were able to enjoy 17 exhibitors from different countries.

We thank everyone who visited Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Stockholm.

This year, Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference series initiated by our team covers 11 countries. After the event in Stockholm, we’ll conduct Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Almaty; the next conferences are planned in Kyiv, Slovenia, Cyprus, Moscow and Malta. Each of them includes careful preparation: we care not only about varied business program, but also about comfort of the participants.
