On September 23, we brought together the world's leading experts in the field of cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies for the third time in Kiev at Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Kiev 2016.
Every year the event grows, the list of topics under discussion becomes wider, and the number of participants increases. This time we divided the conference into three streams depending on the level of the attendees' awareness and the area of their professional interests. We have tried to make the event useful not only to specialists, but also for those who are looking for new knowledge and strive to keep up with progress.
In the hall for “Rookies”, the speakers talked about the concepts of cryptocurrency, blockchain, mining and the prospects of their application. As it turned out, most of the attendees knew what was being said thanks to our previous events. A moderator of this stream Maxim Krupyshev admitted that he expected to see a bit "weaker" audience and was surprised by ‘cool questions’ being asked by the audience to the speakers.
The hall “Pro” hosted experts. It dealt with the changes in legislation on the regulation of cryptocurrency, the prospects of blockchain in stock trading and banking.
One of the sections was devoted to application of decentralized networks in public administration - Govtech, namely a service for e-voting e-Vox and a platform for the privatization of state-owned property e-Auction. The latter is now being implemented in several municipalities in Ukraine.
According to the head of Innovation & Development Foundation Lasha Antadze, a blockchain platform for conducting auctions for the sale of property is only the first step towards the introduction of decentralized networks in all spheres of public administration.
The hall “Developer” was designed for developers. It featured, in addition to lectures, master classes on creation of a mining station and writing smart contracts and server-less applications using blockchain Ethereum.
We can confidently call the third Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Kiev successful and our guests confirm this.
The representative of Bitmain Warranty Yoshi Goto said, "I was pleasantly surprised by the number of visitors and a variety of companies in the field of blockchain technologies. Everything went very lively!"
"I saw here so many people with an inner desire to change and improve the world," Stanislav Podyachev from Btcu.biz said.
In a year, Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Kiev will be held again. Very soon, on November 10, Moscow will take up the baton of our international blockchain events and host Bitcoin Conference Russia. See you soon!
